Savage River Research (SRR) is a privately held, non-profit foundation, specializing in cryptographic research and the secure movement of critical information across the Internet. SRR also provides highly specialized instruction in academic disciplines related to those topics under Ariadne; and is engaged in current research in those domains under Alethia. The upper division courses taught in Ariadne are restricted to employee students sponsored by state and federal agencies or U.S. corporations serving as contractors to those agencies. However several of the lower division courses, which cover programming, network and cryptographic prerequisites are freely available on YouTube as described in Open Courses
